ABOUT US
Art has been a major part of my life from the age of sixteen. I gained a first class honours degree in Fine Art and Metal work at Camberwell College of Art and later trained to become a secondary school art teacher. I taught in north London for four years and have also studied Art Therapy at Goldsmiths College.
When I moved to Bedford with my husband and three children I decided to set up art and craft workshops of my own in response to a friend’s search for a local Art club for her daughter. We started around my kitchen table and have slowly grown…
We offer weekly workshops for children from school age upwards, including teenagers. We work with schools, offer private tuition and run creative parties and events on request.
Art has always been a subject close to my heart and I am grateful for having created this opportunity to pass my passion onto the children of the community in which I now live. I believe that every child is indeed an artist and that all children benefit enormously from being given the opportunity and freedom to be creative.
